Hype5 Stage 1.0.2 · Pre-release
Hype5 Stage
Hype5 Stage is a contemporary theatre theme with an understated, near-monochrome identity. It is a complete theme on its own; with the optional Hype5 Theater plugin it presents productions, people, venues and the schedule.

What Stage provides
| Area | Details |
|---|---|
| Home page | The Marquee with the next performances and the season's posters, optionally under a full-bleed photograph or muted film; the company of the next production; the poster wall; your front page's own content. |
| Navigation | Header with logo, main menu, a button (Tickets by default), search and the Lights switch; a mobile menu; footer menus and widget columns. |
| Pages and posts | Templates for pages, posts, archives, search, 404 and comments; Classic Editor and block content. |

| Settings | Appearance → Customise → Hype5 Stage. |
Principles
- Optional and independent. No dependency in either direction: Stage works without the plugin, and the plugin works with other themes.
- No theatre data in the theme. Stage never stores productions, people, venues, performances, ticket offers or credits, and never writes Hype5 Theater's options, Appearance settings, meta or tables.
- No ticket logic of its own. A ticket button appears only for offers that Hype5 Theater marks as purchasable; Stage never builds a purchase link.
- Careful with private content. Stage follows Hype5 Theater's visibility rules: unpublished and private content is never shown, the home page and lists show only productions that are public to everyone, and a password-protected production's own page opens only after its password is entered (see Private and protected content).
