Each manual is a ZIP file with a documentation folder. Extract it and open documentation/index.html in a web browser — no internet connection, server or registration needed.

Using an offline manual

  1. Download the ZIP for your product.
  2. Extract the whole ZIP (Windows: right-click it and choose Extract All; macOS: double-click it). Opening a page directly from inside the ZIP does not work. You get a folder named like the ZIP, containing documentation, MANIFEST.json and README.txt.
  3. Open documentation/index.html in that folder in your browser — double-click it, or drag it into a browser window.

Everything works from your computer: navigation, the table of contents, light and dark colour schemes and search. Links to pages of another product's documentation open the online documentation.

What each manual contains

  • Hype5 Theater documentation — Getting started, the Hype5 Theater guides, the Developer reference, and Reference and help.
  • Hype5 Stage documentation — Getting started, the Hype5 Stage guides, Theme integration, and Reference and help.
  • Hype5 documentation (all products) — all of the above.

Each manual is built from the same source as this website, for the versions listed on Documentation versions. The installable plugin and theme ZIP files are separate downloads; the manuals are meant to accompany them in the complete product packages.
