Pages, posts and other content
Stage is a complete theme for ordinary WordPress content. Everything on this page works with or without Hype5 Theater.

Templates

Editors
Stage supports both editors in pages and posts:
- Classic Editor content, including image alignment and floats.
- Block content, with WordPress's block styles, wide and full-width alignments and responsive embeds. The editor uses Stage's editor stylesheet, so content looks close to the front end while you write.
Hype5 Theater always uses the Classic Editor for its own productions, people and venues; Stage changes nothing about that.

The widths are also written to theme.json, so the block editor uses the same sizes. Change them in Customise → Hype5 Stage → Lights and layout.
Images
- WordPress keeps the original proportions of images; Stage adds two large sizes without cropping (1600 px and 2400 px wide) for wide pictures and the full-bleed home picture.
- Stage's design keeps pictures in their natural proportions; portraits of people are shown in 2:3 frames.

Hype5 Theater shortcodes in pages
Pages and posts can contain Hype5 Theater shortcodes. With the plugin active they render in Stage's design. Without the plugin, WordPress prints an unknown shortcode as plain text, so remove plugin shortcodes from pages if you stop using the plugin. See Shortcodes.
Password-protected and private content
Password-protected posts show WordPress's password form. Private and draft content is never listed by Stage's templates for visitors.
